We are looking for an individual to join our team as 1st Shift Diesel Mechanics at our Bessemer terminal. Great 4 day schedule of Tues-Fri 7am-530pm.

$1000 Sign-On Bonus for new experienced Tractor-Trailer Diesel Techs: $500 on first check, $500 after 90 days!

A day in the life of a Decker Diesel Mechanic looks like:
  • Providing maintenance and repair on a private fleet of well-equipped, late model trucks and trailers with top of the line technology
  • Processing work orders
  • Accurately filling out necessary documents
  • Opportunity for growth into shop leadership for the right person
  • Also looking for a Lead Mechanic if you have prior supervisory experience
  • Other duties as assigned
Diesel Mechanic Technician Must Haves
  • Computer based diagnostic skills with OEM interfaces
  • Paccar experience preferred
  • Must have own tools
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Basic computer knowledge for email and work orders etc.
  • Knowledge and adherence to DOT/OSHA policies and procedures
Diesel Mechanic Technician Nice to Haves
  • Steel and Aluminum Welding experience is a plus
  • Reefer experience is a plus
  • CDL a plus but not required
