We are looking for an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic for our 1st shift to join our growing Maintenance Department. 1st shift is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with a weekly on-call rotation. $1/hr Lead Tech Shift Differential after 90 days! $3000 sign-on bonus for a new employee!

A day in the life of a Decker Diesel Mechanic looks like:

  • Providing maintenance and repair on a private fleet of well-equipped, late model trucks and trailers with top of the line technology
  • Processing work orders
  • Accurately filling out necessary documents
  • Leading the 1st shift of Diesel Mechanics
  • Opportunity for growth into shop leadership for the right person
  • Other duties as assigned


Diesel Mechanic Must Haves

  • Must have own tools; tool lease program available if needed
  • Computer based diagnostic skills with OEM interfaces 
  • Paccar experience preferred 
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Post job offer physical and drug screen required


Diesel Mechanic Nice to Haves

  • CDL preferred but not required
  • Steel and Aluminum Welding experience is a plus 
  • Reefer experience is a plus
