Decker has an opportunity available for a self-motivated individual to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Dodge, IA as our Director of Information Technology. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Information Technology and leading a team of IT Professionals as they are responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of Information Technology across The Decker Companies and its various subsidiaries. This includes the strategic direction and management of cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, computer systems, communications technologies, and technical support. Ensures the security, reliability, and performance of IT operations across multiple locations while aligning technology solutions with business objectives.

Director of Information Technology Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 availability of services and infrastructure
• Develop/maintain internal documentation and procedures
• Develop/maintain processes to automate tasks
• Research, develop, and implement new technologies and best practices
• Proactively monitor and audit the health, security and availability of the network
• Perform troubleshooting for complex hardware, software and network problems
• Oversee the Information Technology Department including Network Administrator, Help Desk and Training Administrator, and Interns

Director of Information Technology Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have a solid background in Network Administration including:

• A degree in Information Technology and 5+ years of network administrator experience
• A background in System and Infrastructure Administration, including:
  • Switches (Arista)
  • Microsoft 365
  • VMware ESXi/vCenter/Horizon
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory and Microsoft Entra
  • IP Telephony
  • Firewalls (CheckPoint)
  • Network design and implementation
  • Familiar with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment required
• Great schedule of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and on-call as needed
