Decker Truck Line, Inc. has an opportunity available for an experienced individual to join our team as Licensing and Permits Coordinator at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Dodge, IA.

Licensing and Permits Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Titling and licensing for multiple companies involving Commercial Motor Vehicles; includes special permits (oversize) and Federal Highway Use Tax. Includes 48 states and some Canadian provinces.
  • Titling and licensing of a business fleet of cars/pickups plus dealer plates.
  • Order special state permits and decals, review and update permit books and decals.
  • Prepare sale documents, apply for certificates of title and transfer titles, deactivate sale equipment and cancel permits.
  • Prepare lease agreements for owner/operators and lease-purchase drivers.
  • Monitor PrePass inventory and review monthly billing.
  • Keep detailed records and monitor multiple deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Great schedule of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm!

Licensing and Permits Coordinator Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years directly-related experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
  • Must have excellent organization and communication skills and be able to prioritize, problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced professional work environment.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and a background in Word, Access and Outlook is required.
  • An AA degree or above is required.
  • Transportation experience is a plus.
  • Post job offer drug screen required.
