We have an immediate opportunity available for an experienced individual to join our team as a Compliance Office Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Dodge, IA. Great working schedule of Monday-Friday 8-5pm. On-call for after hours safety issues approximately once every 5 weeks once trained.

A Day in the Life of a Compliance Specialist
- Coaching Drivers on safety violations like seat belt and mobile device use
- Monitoring driver Hours of Service
- Assisting drivers with E-logs and tablet troubleshooting
- Dog and Passenger Authorizations
- Processing files on accidents/incidents/cargo claims
- Maintaining DOT file credentials (CDLs & MVRs)
- Tracking completion of quarterly training and retraining assignments for drivers
- Handling motorist complaints
- Counseling and coaching drivers and following up with drivers on corrective actions
- Cross-training with the other Safety Compliance Specialists to provide support when they are out
- Other duties as assigned
Compliance Office Specialist Must Haves
- Previous directly-related experience is a plus
- Follow-up and communication skills must be of the highest caliber
- Must be well organized and proactive with great attention to detail
- Must be a team player
- Proficiency in MS Office required
- Must have excellent data entry skills and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with McLeod software and E-log systems are a plus
