Decker Truck Line, Inc. is growing and has an immediate opportunity available for an experienced individual to join our team as Diesel Technician Training Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Dodge, IA.

Diesel Technician Training Manager Responsibilities
  • Lead, design, develop and implement initial and recurrent training programs for Mechanics and Maintenance personnel
  • Supervise by establishing objectives, standards and accountability for job performance
  • Travel to other terminals to implement and oversee training
  • Assist the Vice President of Maintenance with projects and daily operations
  • Other duties as assigned
Diesel Technician Training Manager Qualifications
  • Previous Training or Teaching experience preferred
  • Ability to write and train Maintenance practices and create training documents in MS Word and MS Power Point
  • Excellent Analytical skills including the ability to create and manipulate charts in MS Excel
  • Supervisory experience in Maintenance Management or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Previous Supervisory experience in Maintenance Management or an equivalent combination of education and related experience a major plus
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required
  • Post job offer drug screen and physical
