Decker is growing and has an immediate need for Diesel Mechanics at our Bessemer terminal! Full time 2nd shift position with the hours of 3pm-11:30pm. On-call as needed. $3/hr shift differential after training!
$3000 Bonus for experienced tractor/trailer Diesel Mechanic applying 1/17/22 or after! $1000 on first check, $1000 after 90 days, $1000 after 6 months.

A day in the life of a Decker Diesel Mechanic looks like:

• Providing maintenance and repair on a private fleet of well-equipped, late model trucks and trailers with top of the line technology
• Processing work orders
• Accurately filling out necessary documents
• Opportunity for growth into shop leadership for the right person
• Also looking for a Lead Mechanic if you have prior supervisory experience
• Other duties as assigned

Diesel Mechanic Technician Must Haves

• Computer based diagnostic skills with OEM interfaces
• Paccar experience preferred
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver’s license required
• Basic computer knowledge for email and work orders etc.
• Knowledge and adherence to DOT/OSHA policies and procedures

Diesel Mechanic Technician Nice to Haves

• Steel and Aluminum Welding experience is a plus
• Reefer experience is a plus
• CDL a plus but not required
